Purchasing a home is a large financial step for many homeowners, and it's great to have the opportunity to be a resource and advocate for buyers and sellers at a critical juncture in their life. I have helped clients on all levels whether to buy a starter home, dream home, or an investment property to fix-n-flip or fix-n-hold. I love real estate, the pride of home ownership, the tangible results of sweat equity, the investment potential and so much more. I also love Denver, The Mile High City, home of the Broncos, soaring Rocky Mountains, amazing skiing and biking, and a vibrant urban center. My wife and I have 2 wonderful daughters, and we can't think of a better city to raise our family. Here is a little about me and my journey to real estate.
My wife and I love Denver's older homes and older neighbors and purchased our first home in the heart of the city at age 23. We spent countless hours in sweat equity to update the home, which included tiling at 2am in the morning and painting while hanging from ropes on the steep Victorian roof. We converted our 1st home to a rental then purchased a 2nd home and repeated the updating process all over again. This experience sparked my interest in real estate.
I received a BS in Geology in 2002 from Wheaton College, and then immediately started as a Hydrogeologist and GIS specialist for a local consulting engineering firm, CDM. I continued to work for CDM for nearly five years and gained analytical, presentation, and professional skills. During my years at CDM my passion for real estate grew.
In 2007, I decided to obtain my real estate license and embark full-time as a real estate professional. The transition to real estate has been a perfect match for me. Through personal experience and assisting others with their real estate needs, I have accumulated countless experience with creative financing, renovations, sources of building materials, solutions to complex home problems, rental property management, and real estate investing evaluation. It's a wonderful opportunity to share what I have learned to help others succeed.
I have had great success in real estate and have been recognized by 5280 Magazine as a "5-Star Agent" and by the Denver Board of Realtors as a "Top-Producing Realtor". I have also become one of the top performing agents in Denver's City Park neighborhoods and helped flip over 25 homes in the last 2 years.
